Step-by-Step Instructions
- Identify the Parts of the Harness
-
Back Panel: The larger padded section with a D-ring for leash attachment.
-
Chest Strap: Adjustable strap that connects across the dog’s chest.
-
Side Buckles: Clips to secure the harness around your dog.
-
Front D-Ring: For optional leash attachment to reduce pulling.
- Adjust the Harness Before Fitting
- Loosen the straps for easier fitting.
- Hold the harness upright with the back panel facing upward and the chest panel facing forward.
- Put the Harness on Your Dog
-
Step 1: Guide your dog’s front legs through the openings, ensuring the chest panel sits on your dog’s chest.
-
Step 2: Pull the straps up around your dog’s body and clip the side buckles together.
- Adjust for a Snug Fit
- Tighten or loosen the straps as needed. The harness should fit snugly but allow two fingers’ width of space between the harness and your dog’s body.
- Ensure the back panel sits securely on your dog’s shoulders without sliding.
- Attach the Leash
- Use the back D-ring for everyday walks.
- Use the front D-ring for training or to reduce pulling behaviour.
- Check Fit and Comfort
- Double-check all buckles and straps are secure.
- Make sure the harness doesn’t rub or chafe your dog’s skin.
Safety Tips
- Regularly inspect the harness for wear and tear. Replace if damaged.
- Never leave the harness on your dog unsupervised.
- Use the reflective trim to ensure visibility during low-light walks.
Care Instructions
